My Cup Runneth Over

December 12th, 2012 by Cindy - One Response

Without a doubt, it is a season of abundant blessings for this girl and the ministry she’s been entrusted with. Driving back from Research Triangle Park this evening–after a full day at GlaxoSmithKline where I proudly accepted the 2012 IMPACT Award (AND a $40,000 check!!) on behalf of Restoration Place–all I could think to say to the Lord was “You. It is estimated that Isaac could actually dump more rain over parts of Louisiana and Mississippi than his big sister Katrina did. As I’ve read the news reports today I’m reminded how, as the world slowly became aware of the real-life nightmare occurring in New Orleans on August 29,… read more

Why I Have the Best Job Ever

July 17th, 2012 by Cindy - One Response

Today has been “one of those days”… a day that I’ve been allowing the anxiety to win, living in a place of “impending doom”, worrying about a situation that I really have absolutely no control over. You know, one of those days when you might think, “I thought I was PAST this kind of living!!” And then I opened an envelope that contained a Satisfaction Survey that a client completed earlier today. Being the “boss” (and I use that term lightly!), I have the privilege of reading each survey that is submitted. In response to several of the survey questions, she… read more
