Counselor Intern

Ashley Rabon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Religion from Clemson University. After graduating, she completed the Fellows Program in Winston Salem, NC. She is currently at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary working towards a Masters in Christian Counseling. She plans to graduate in Spring of 2023. Ashley enjoys backpacking, running, spending time with friends and family, and going on walks.

Ashley uses an integrated counseling approach. She primarily utilizes Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with clients.

Ashley has internship experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, and trauma. Ashley is working on her EMDR certification this fall.

Ashley is dependent upon Christ in her work with clients. Ashley integrates spirituality into counseling work if desired by the client, but she will not impose her faith or her beliefs on clients.
