Suzanne Causey is from the Piedmont area and is happy to call NC home. She earned a BS in Animal Science from North Carolina State University and holds a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is passionate about God’s heart to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3) through Christ’s restorative work on the cross. In her work as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A), she desires to help live out God’s mission on this side of Heaven.

Suzanne utilizes an integrative counseling approach through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-centered therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting to help achieve client goals. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and enjoys working with women who struggle with identity issues, faith concerns, grief, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout. She believes reliance on the Holy Spirit is key in the counseling process and that Spiritual disciplines such as prayer, reading scripture, fasting, etc. can also help bring healing in the therapeutic process. Suzanne desires for counseling to be a safe place for clients and empowers clients to drive their own growth.

Outside of RPC, Suzanne is involved in her church small group, loves hiking, kayaking, and other outdoor activities, travel, and spending time with family and friends and her dog, Finn.
