Biblical counseling is often thought of as “problem-based professional discipleship” and can be helpful for those not experiencing a clinical mental health concern. RPC biblical counselors hold a master-level degree in pastoral or biblical counseling and seek to come alongside individuals desiring to think more deeply about the biblical and spiritual implications of a life concern. They use the Bible to identify, understand, and address personal and relational problems.
Biblical counselors do not hold a state license, do not provide diagnosis, and do not charge a fee for their services; they are paid by Restoration Place Counseling and are dependent upon donations to RPC for their support.
