Licensed counselors have advanced training and experience working with a large variety of personal and relational concerns including those classified as “clinical mental health.” Licensed counselors use both biblical and psychological principles to promote emotional, relational, and spiritual healing.

Each of our clinical counselors has been licensed by a North Carolina state board. Licensed clinicians give diagnoses and utilize a variety of psychological and theoretical approaches to support clients in recovery and growth. Clinical counselors place an emphasis on mental health disorders, emotional well-being, and the use of therapeutic interventions that are grounded in psychological research and best practices. However, they will present these traditional psychological principles within the framework of a biblical worldview. All counselors share RPC’s mission of pointing others to the hope and healing found in Jesus Christ.
